You re probably already aware that a program created in VB must be compiled before it can be run. The same is true of VB ASP .NET applications, where there is a three-stage compilation process: In the first stage, all the classes are compiled into Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL), in the form of a .NET Assembly.
